I’m Running to Serve, Not to Sit
Hoover is a strong city with even greater potential. However, politics often gets in the way of progress. I’m running for City Council because I believe our community deserves more than empty promises.
We need leaders who listen, lead with integrity, and fight for what is right, not what is popular. I’m not a career politician. I’m a husband, a father, a man of faith, and a community advocate who’s ready to get to work.

Steve McClinton has spent his life serving others as a youth pastor, entrepreneur, mentor, and public speaker. A longtime resident of Hoover, Steve’s leadership is grounded in faith, family, and a passion for doing what’s right.
He brings decades of experience guiding people through tough decisions and inspiring hope in challenging times. Whether advocating for safer neighborhoods, better schools, or smart development, Steve is ready to serve with strength and humility.
